It is with great pride we present our institution for magical learning. Times have changed since the old days: we're humbler, more accepting, and cleaner. At least, that's what the Ministry of Magic insists, so why shouldn't you believe it? Our academics are superb, and we take education very seriously. We're certain there's something here to catch the eye of each student, and what a population of students we have!
Join us for another year of magical learning. You never know what lies behind the gates.

CREDITS
The skin and layout for the forum was developed by Lee and Sàmmius, the original co-founders of this forum. (Lee is no longer on the staff team, but she deserves every bit of credit for what she's done.)
Harry Potter, the wizarding world, and the idea of Durmstrang Institute itself are all credit to J.K. Rowling. We claim no rights to her work. However, as very little information about Durmstrang has been provided, much of what is here is credit to the administrators of this forum.
All characters, as this is a non-canon forum, are credited to their creators. All graphics, post content, and other materials found on this forum are also credited to the original creator -- in this case, the poster, unless otherwise noted.
If you are doubtful as to whether something may be borrowed, then either ask or simply forget about it. We will do everything within our power to bring you down should we find that you've stolen our content.

schönheit village. (6 sub-boards) Schönheit Village could be compared to a mixture of Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade in the United Kingdom, but it's still quite different. This is the closest town to the school's island, and it hosts a variety of sweets, treats, and school supplies.
dörf des lebens. (1 sub-board) Dörf des Lebens is a very laid-back village several miles from Schönheit. In a sense, it's hidden in large trees and gets virtually no sunlight, but it's full of friendly, outgoing people. Trouble is frowned upon, but open-mindedness is encouraged.
